  • As a life long yoga practitioner I am always looking for teachers with depth of knowledge, love and commitment to the practice, and an ability to share their experience with clarity, lightness and humour. Gaia is able to do this, so it was my great pleasure to practice with her and her group on the beach in Caleta de Fuste right in front of the apartment my Dad and I were staying in in November. Gaia’s classes were a great benefit to me while I was exploring beautiful Fuerteventura and making sure my Dad enjoyed himself too. Gaia’s teaching is based on the principles of doing the practice, inner reflection on how it feels, and allowing the necessary time to understand how this ripples out into our daily lives. The classes are precise, surprising and fun. She pays close attention to each practitioner and their unique potential, offering adjustments and alternatives for everyone as needed. She is teaching real people, not perfect poses. There is attention to breath, intention and always a full savāsana to rest and absorb at the end of the class. Her dedication to her path of yoga and sharing its benefits is very clear and I would wholeheartedly recommend taking the opportunity to be around her if you have the chance. She also speaks excellent English which is great for international visitors. Fuerteventura, and Fuerteventura’s yoga community are greatly enriched by having Gaia there, and I hope we meet again in the future. Deepest thanks, Gaia

  • Outstanding. Beautiful, gentle soul with a heart of gold and a head full of knowledge. I felt completely at home in Gaia’s class. I absolutely loved her style of teaching, really intricate details that make the classes extra special. It takes a special soul to be able to run such amazing classes and Gaia is just this person. Her teaching style is adapted to each student where she is able to quickly grasp the needs of the individual and then be able to offer the right amount of challenge for growth. Gaia's knowledge of yoga is unrivaled from any other teacher I've worked with and she is able to intersperse mindfulness practice and principles throughout each session so that the maximum mind-body benefit is received. The variation of each class and focus on just one area is great and so refreshing from teachers who just carry out a standard flow for 1 hour. I Couldn't recommend it enough!

  • I was working in Fuerte in Jan, and had recently just started playing with a yoga app.. I thought , let’s do this properly and saw that Gaia was near to me so we setup a month of private lessons every other day .. and wow.. I’ve a new body and I understand it and can now progress properly .. she is a consummate professional teacher with skills you will not find in your average teacher . The eye coordination classes were incredible ! I can now balance on one foot ! Thoroughly recommend this woman.

I am committed to revolutionizing the accessibility of yoga and movement education, ensuring it’s of the highest quality. That’s why I created Humanence—with the purpose and passion to help others.

As a former gymnast, I shifted my focus from outward achievement to inner awareness.The path I’m sharing with you has not only helped me reduce pain and feel better while managing my heart disease, but it has also transformed my life—especially during moments of struggle.

I am on a mission to continuously seek the best training and resources, as Humanence is an evolving space for everyone—myself included. After all, what we learn today may be outdated tomorrow.

As the only yoga practitioner on the island offering a brain-based approach to movement, I aim to create a practice that’s as unique as you are.

My sessions empower you to move with purpose, cultivate self-awareness, and unlock your human potential—all while nurturing your body and mind.
